I'm swapping in a 305 TPI into my 89 Camaro. The 305 TBI harness (from the old motor) is currently in the car. I have the 305 TPI harness waiting to go in once the old harness is removed.

My problem is the the TPI harness doesn't seem to have the any of the wiring that goes to the front headlights. On the old TBI harness, wiring comes from the main harness on the drivers side, down past the charcoal canister to the driver headlights and then across the front of the car and plugs into the pass side headlights. This looks like one piece (it doesn't look like it plugs into the main harness running across the top of the car).

The TPI harness doesn't have any of this!! How do I plug in the lights on the TPI harness?? What am I missing?

THANKS.......................

There are actually 2 harnesses under the hood, one for the engine and the other has everything else. I ran into this when I swapped TPI on to my Formula.

Are the two harnesses connected to each other? If so, where ?

Do you have any pics of the swap?

THANKS..........

They both plug into a bulkhead style connector on the drivers side below and to the right of the brake booster (as viewed from the front of the car). Should be a metric bolt holding the plugs into the socket. I've got some but they're too large to post here, I could email them to you if you like.
