Changing 350 Tune Port to 400 small Block?

I am thinking of changing my 350 to a 400 small block bored 30 over to a 406 ci with edelbrock aluminum heads edelbrock aluminum 2-4 intake with 2 edelbrock performer carbs. And a healthy cam this engine is currently in a car that turns high 10s in the quarter .
I would like any and all opinions on this as I am being told it will be easier to work on and run 100% better and make the engine compartment look alot cleaner....
I guess my question is if you were offered by someone to do this would you take this option and change motors?

It won't be any easier to work on, run any better, or make the engine compartment look any cleaner than any other small block.

If you do decide to do the swap, forget about the dual carbs.

Dual quads is pre-school, not even old-school. If you're after show and want something sticking through the hood, go for it. If you're after go, get a Performer RPM Air Gap and Holley 750 DP.

Which Edelbrock heads? Do you have more specifics on the cam? What transmission are you going to run? Rear end? Is the rest of the car ready for this much power?

Driveability and fuel economy will surely suffer. What are your plans for use of the car?

You can do a carb setup on the eng. thats in the car.
If you got the parts and a way to bring the car to me,I can make it happen.
I personally would leave the tpi on the car.
You're not having any problems with the ecm I sold you 6 months ago are you?
Why would you want to change the eng. setup on a beautiful car like that?

I am NOT having any problems with the ECM unit the car is running like a charm (Thank You) I have had no problems since it was installed other then a couple weeks ago my radiator called it quits but that has been replaced but after almost 20yrs I can handle that.
As for me posting this post on engine swap I did it because I was offered a motor to put into my car that would do away with all the computer questions or repairs that NO ONE (other then Frank the guy that put in your ECM unit) knows what they are doing down here even the dealers screw it up.They figure it would be a less burden and if something were to go wrong it could be fixed they can handle the older engins were all the wiring and computer problems they don't know were to start.
You know my car means alot to me and I myself am VERY leary of this swap but I thought I would throw it out there for suggestions before my final decission..
~P.S~ By the way did we go to all Black in your Ride???
Have you done anymore to yours ????
