I know I can go to the salvage yard and get a new engine and trans but what about the electrical?? DO I need to get a different harness, ignition system, or any other electrical/computer related stuff??
Switching an engine is pretty straightforward but I havent done it on a more modern car. What needs to be done computer wise???
I apologize if this is up somewhere already, im kinda in a bind on time right now.

Depends upon what you're doing. If you're getting one like what you have now, all you need is the engine. If you're getting something with a different induction type, depends upon what you have and what you get, and what you use. If you want to "upgrade" the induction to what you're getting out of the junkyard, you'll probably need to get everything.
