86 Z28 350 Swap Not Going So Well HELP!!!
ok so i decided my 305 wasnt making enough power for me ( but who hasnt ) so i built up a 1972 4 bolt main engine i swapped the engine in fine it has tuned port injection, first it backfired and caught my wiring harness on fire because my fuel rail was spitting fuel out, so i find out an o ring got crushed so i replaced the burnt wires and o ring, no more fuel leak, but now i cant here my fuel pump and my ses light doesnt come on when the key is turned, so im thinking my ecm isnt working, but i had a spare and tried that and still no luck, i checked every fuse no luck, i even tried a spare relay and still no luck, i had the same problem before the fire too so idk, any help would be great thank you!!!!!!!!!

I haven't had that problem with my camaro, but something similar happened to my moms 86 Caprice. I know it wasn't a TPI car, but I had things that were not working with good fuses and the "brain" was still good. Turned out to be a Fusable Link. 80's Chevys are eat up with them. My 84 Z/28 and 85 vette both have several of them so I know camaros had them too.Might be one of those. It's worth a look anyway, right?
Good luck. Let me know what the problem is when you get it figured out.

Another thing. Get a test light and check the wires that are going into the fuel pump and see if its getting electricity. If its not then my money is on a fusable link.
