Pontiac Swap
Pontiac Swap
Hi guys, long time member, first time poster. I just purchased a damaged '89 Pontiac Formula with a 350. I actually want to put most of the components (Formula not fixable) into my '68 Pontiac LeMans. I know the engine and drivetrain will fit, but what about the brakes, steering box, suspension, rear-end, and so on? Any advice is welcome to include websites or clubs.

Not much else fits, and some modifications will be required to accommodate the engine and transmission (mostly transmission, fuel, wiring, etc.).
The 1st gen rear is stronger than a 3rd gen rear.
The aftermarket supports 1st gens pretty well.
