91 gta

well i just bought a 91 trans am gta that i am picking up friday and it currently has a rebuilt 305 in it....but around here there are alot of 302 mustangs and honda civics and i wanted to see if anyone had any advice in wat i could do to keep up and maybe leave a couple behind, if this is in the wrong section i appoligize and will move. any advice is greatly appreciated!

The simple answer: More engine.

Getting a 305 to keep up with 5.0's is possible, but not easy. Much easier is a 350, 383, LT1, or LS1. You're looking at somewhere between $3k to $10k.

well wat would you suggest?? and would you keep tpi or go carb, also just to note this is a daily driver
