A Few Questions About A V6 Engine Swap
A Few Questions About A V6 Engine Swap
My 2000 Firebird cracked a head a couple of weeks ago. I have a friend who has a 99 motor for sale.
First of all he is asking $700 for the motor. Is that a decent price? He says the motor has only 12000 miles on it, but the computer is messed up.
Second, will that motor match up with my car?
Third, should I expect any problems with sensors, etc?

Well, this is "thirdgen.org". The "third generation" years were 1982-1992. 1970-1981 was "second generation", 1967-1969 were "first generation". You might have guessed by now that yours and the engine you're talking about are "fourth generation".
No problem is someone wants to PM you with advice, but I'm afraid I have to send Mr.
after this thread.
