TPI to Carb swap, oil pressure gauge wiring, tan wire?

I'm wrapping up a TPI to carb swap on my 86 IROC and can't seem to locate the tan wire for hooking up the oil pressure gauge (non stock sender). I completely removed the TPI harness (without cutting woo hoo) and have everything else wired. Is this elusive tan wire on the TPI harness? I read some posts where it's grouped with an orange and tan/white wire for the fuel pump switch. My shop manual just shows the tan wire from the sender to the gauge.

Thanks

Should be E5 in the C100 connector. It is in the years before & after.

Re: TPI to Carb swap, oil pressure gauge wiring, tan wire?

i just did a v6 to carb v8 swap on my 92 camaro, the orange wire is hot and the grey wire goes to the fuel pump but double, so the third wire goes to the gauge, double check by looking at the engine control wiring harness for a 92 3.1 liter camaro. i believe that the tan wire is for the gauge.

This is good info and the same info I found already. My problem is that I can't locate these wires in my remaining harness (if it's even there). I'll be giving it a look again this weekend.

Re: TPI to Carb swap, oil pressure gauge wiring, tan wire?

I left everything on the 305 and pulled the TPI harness. I'm putting in a crate mother with all new sensors etc. These wires are on the TPI harness so I guess I'll have to find it under the dash.

Thanks
