V6-V8 Clutch Won't Disengage

Engine: 3.1 V6,5.0 tpi
Transmission: AUTOMATIC, t5
Axle/Gears: one tire fire ,posi disc
V6-V8 Clutch Won't Disengage
Hey,
i went from a 2.8 liter to a 5 liter TPI, and i am using the T5 Tranny.
i was thinking that i have to move the clutch push rod at the pedal from the top hole to the bottom hole, but i wanted to verify first.
if anyone knows, i would appreciate a reply.

so i moved the push rod on the clutch master cylinder and it made the clutch disengage but it bent the push rod so now i am really confused
