What would you be looking for price wise? Would the t56 come with everything to swap in place of a 700R4?
I am very interested.

Just to chime in on this. I did a H/C/I swap on my L98 (stock bottom end). People were telling me to not go with the AFR 195's because it would kind of be a dog around town and to go with the 180's. I went with a HSR which people were telling me I was going to lose even more torque on top of using the 195's.

I talked to some educated guys on here, as well as locally. I finished my swap, and I used the 195's and the HSR. My cam requires a stall and gears. Well I am running on my stock stall, and stock 2.77 posi rear until next year. The car feels great driving around normally, and I can still shred the tires from a stop with ease. I can't wait for a 2800 stall and 3.73's next year.

Re: Existing L98 to a 383 stroker

Hey guys I could use some suggestions here. I have a '91 350TPI that I want to turn into a 383 build, I'm working with about $2,500-$3,500 and my goal is to get to the 300+rwhp mark, does anyone have any dyno tested setups they could share? Or know of any places I could pick blueprints up from? Thank you.

Make a new thread vs reviving a 10 year old thread?

As an FYI, your $3500 budget won't get you a 383 and 300whp. The 383 will suck just about all of that up.
