i'm planning on buying a camaro that got smashed on the passenger side just for the m/t. the kids asking 500bucks, the 305 is "built" as much as 305s can be(headers,carb,intake,etc.). I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy the camaro to use as a parts car for my firebird. it used to be a 2.6 before i yanked the m/t. i'm basically just wondering if a 305+700r4 with a clapped out camaro that has been sitting for 3 years is worth 500 bucks. any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. thanx.

 

i think i'd be looking for a 350 for my 500 dollars. is there anything else on the car you could use or sell? you'll end up with a body you can't get rid of (ask me i know). does it have posi? that would be a big plus if it did.
