LT1 A/C clearance
Just wondering if anyone could comment on the A/C compressor clearance on a swap into a third gen.
Thoughts I thunk of
A non stock (for either application) PS motor mount moved back on the crossmember, using the extra mounts built into the LT1 block
A compressor that's "thinner" front to back.
Also, is there a way to make the A/C clutch slightly smaller in diameter?
TIA
matthew

what I did was leave the original compressorr and just notch the frame and weld in new metal. only took about an hour and you cant even see it. only problem with doing it that way is you have to get new lines made to clear the crossmember
