L98 questions

I currently have an 85 Z, LG4 T5. I want a 350. I've been looking into L98s. How much should I be expecting to spend if I bought a 350 black, put L98 heads and cam on it, the TPI setup and the computer? I'm saying I have around 1000 to spend. I also want to buy some headers and flowmasters.

I recently replaced my tired 305 with an L98.
I bought a rebuilt 350 short block bored .040 over (356 c.i. i think), it is late model with one piece rear-main.
Bought a set of aluminum corvette L98 heads from Taber Corvette parts and had them rebuilt with new springs, guides, etc.
Bought a Comp hyd. roller cam.
Used the stock tpi intake but ported it.
Here are the prices i payed for everything:
Short block-$500
Heads-$430 (delivered)
Heads rebuilt-$300 (includes head gaskets and bolts)
Cam-$250 (delivered)
Add about $100 for little unexpected stuff for safety.
This could be done cheaper. The heads would've been ok without the rebuild, but new springs are a must with a new cam. So that would be about $250 less.
I have heard of guys picking up complete L98s at juck yards (that run) for around $500.
