Some wise guy is going to say all 305's are low output...
A little more info like year, induction type (carb, TBI, TPI) would be helpful, but, to answer your question: Check the eighth digit of your VIN - "H" = LG4, which should mean it has a single snorkle air cleaner and small exhaust, earlier versions also had lower compression; "G" - L69, which is the high-output carb version with dual-snorkle air cleaner and larger exhaust; "F" = TPI 305, which is higher power than a TBI - Manual transmission models had a better cam than auto versions, so also had more power. The VIN code for the TBI LO3 escapes me right now.
If the eighth character is an "8", you have a 350.
If I understand this correctly, only the L69 was called a "high output" engine.

TBI... say no more...
It's low output. There's no such thing as a high output one, it's not even like some are lower output than others. All the TBI 305s are the same, auto or manusl, very minor variations if any from year to year.
There were 2 versions of TPI 305s, and also of carbed 305s that were used in these cars. For those, the terms high and low output have meaning.
