what happens to computers?
if i put a carburated 350 crate engine in a car that used to have a fuel injected v8 what would i have to do with the computers? i'm pretty confussed here. i was told i'll no longer need the computers but i dont know if the car will work with out them

Engine: 2.8
Transmission: Auto
The only gauge that is run by the ECM (computer) is the speedo. the sensor for the speed is in the trans. you may be able to leave the ECM in with the Speed sensor and still get the speedo to work.
I don't know for sure. I never tried.
