383 stock 700r4
I was lucky enough today to get my hands on one of the gm crate zz383 motors but am not sure what i should do before putting it in my camaro i have the ausy 9 bolt with 4:10s but im woried about the 700r it is stock with the best i know 136,000 miles it seems just fine but im afraid of what 400 horse may do what do you guys think will it hold up?

Probably not.
You basically have to decide whether to pony up for a rebuild/enhancement now, or pull the tranny out later and do it after it gives up.
Were you planning on a converter upgrade?

ya thats kind of what I was guessing I was just wondering how long the tranny may last? I know thats an imposible question to answer but I just realy was trying to convince my self that it may last for awhile atleast LOL and yes i have a 3500 stall.
