pcm power and ground for LT1
pcm power and ground for LT1
ok-ive got the lt1 in the truck bolted up. ive got all engine sensors hooked up, but i dont have pcm power feed and ground wires hooked up so im not getting any power to the computer. i dont know where the main pcm and ground wires are on the harness. i have a feeling that they are on the black plug that goes through the firewall(there are also two other plugs connected to the harness that go through the firewall next to this black one-one is blue the other is white). this black plug has 4 wires going into it-a heavy guage purple, a black/white, an orange, and a gray. i have just about everything else hooked up except for these pcm wires(power and ground) and the gage cluster wires(oil pressure, water temp, volt meter, tach). my wiring diagrams are crap so i dont really have any other source besides you people here.
if you could just tell me exactly what wires are absolutely necessary for starting the motor-i dont care about any of the dash gage cluster wires, i can get those later. i just want to get this thing running. also VATS should not be an issues cuz i had it reprogrammed out om the pcm. i really hope some of you fellow lt1 swappers can pass on which you have learned so that i can learn and pass it on to the next.
thanks a whole lot!
