new 84z28 Shell owner need help
I am going to buy a shell of an 84 z28 camaro with everything but the motor. I wanted to swap a 350 in there. What is the most cost effective way to get a good 350 seeing as i am still a student and what kind of problems will i run into while putting the motor in it = )

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
A used engine from the classifieds in the paper, most likely. "Cost effective" and "reliable" - well, that might be a different story.
Hopefully, everything you need to hook up the engine is still in there, or you're in for a lot more expense.

Idles smooth @ 600 RPM in D. Best 15.02/95.06 @ 5800' Bandimere (corrected 13.93/102.4 @ sea level).
Hopefully, everything you need to hook up the engine is still in there, or you're in for a lot more expense.
