Im building my 90 formula, ive got a 400 sbc in it, with hooker 2210's, and a t5 behind it, my starter from my 305 fits physically, but since the 400 is a staggard bolt pattern and the 305 isnt, thats not gonna work, ive tried 2 styles of mini starters, the first style hit on the header and wouldnt turn to get it flush, the second on fit, except the solenoid houseing hit on my block. Anyone have any suggestions? starters the only thing holding me up....

i was lookin for a starter for my 383. guy at the shop sold me a starter for an 8.1L. works great and looks like a traditional sbc starter.
