LT1 Carb into 82 Z28 LG4 Carb

Lately I have been observing ads for reconditioned LT1's with 325hp for about 1900 USD and thought, damn 325hp?! that's got to be worth it....so, can I swap it right in?
Can people please help me
Remember I need to have a carb engine.
I can always rebuild it later and make it wild can't I?
Please post replies
Thanks

Your LG4 manifold will not fit the LT1 heads. I'm sure I don't know everything, but I've never heard of an LT1 manifold for a q-jet.

The LT1 was also designed for reverse coolant flow, meaning the outlet to the radiator goes to the heads first. I'm not sure what would happen if you converted it to forward flow, or if that is even possible.

The best swap would be to convert your car to the LT1, which many have done. Just putting an LT1 long block into a carb'd configuration would seem to me to defeat the purpose somewhat.

I had kinda guessed that I would have had to change the exhaust system, but, apart from that, it should be fine?
The radiator problem, what will I need to solve that?
Aren't LT1's still alright with carb?
I cna't just go into a junkyard and get all the harnesses and that off a wreck like you guys so I just have to settle with what I have now, and I see LT1's to be a good value motor?
Am I right with this?

an harness from painless is about 350$ at jegs.com and a ECM would be around 100-250$ used from ebay or some place like that ... if you're able to make it fuel injection well go ahead cauz that carb will restrict the HP on your LT1.

How much would you say it would be to get all the accessories (not engine stuff) for an LT1 swap and how hard is it to do?
