Summit has a book, "How to Run 11 Second E.T.'s On a Budget" that has lots of info about running a 406 in a 3rd gen. The actual engine buildups are a little outdated, but it still has other good info about tranny, rearend, fuel system, and other modifications to your car you'll have to make. I was originally going to build a 406, but after pricing it out I realized I couldn't afford it, so I ended up getting a crate 350. I hope this helps. Good luck.
