LT1 swap with A/C

I read several of the posts dealing with this swap, but I don't recall seeing anything about having A/C. Is it possible, what compressor do I use? stock lt1 or aftermarket? Any info is really appreciated thanks

Are you talking about the manifold or complete engine swap?

For the AC , you will need to buy a 90 degree adapter. You can't connect the AC lines because it sits right on the cross member.

CarQuest has the adapter he's talking about, thats what I used. if you want, I've got the engine out right now and I can take a picture of it and probably find the part number in all of the receipts. once you get the adapter though, you still have to get the a/c lines. we used standard A/C hose from autozone, and cut off the metal fittings from the old hoses and used hose clamps to put them together. looks factory from the top.
