which way to go

alright i just got my hands on a lt1 through a guy for nothin(wife made him clean out garage) it has been rebuilt no intake or headers i want to go carb still because i just spent 500$ on a new one for my 305 more like hunk o five, but i have headers and dual 2.25 exhuast all the way and from what ive seen the lt1 doesnt have headers of that size or the fittings and going with the lt1 four barrel intake good idea? i want your opinion!

The intake manifold you need used to be offere through Summit, but they were getting it from the same source as everyone else: GM Performance Parts. It runs close to $300.
