V6 to V8

Engine: 5.0 305 H.O.
Transmission: 200-R4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 Posi
V6 to V8
im looking thru the fourms, i used the 
and i can't find anything, but i work at advance auto, and im showing in 1991 they used the same computer for the V8*in the baseline firebird* as they did in the v6, is this tru, or am i poking at something that the computer is wrong on? also ive got all the parts for my v8 swap, just need to find a motor and trans, im betting if the comps are the same, then wouldn't the hookups for the 91 v8 be the same?

The computers were the same. The PROM and harness were different.
