Bellhousing/flywheel help

I have a 168 tooth flywheel on my bord 350 motor. I am currently looking for a starter. But i just read in another post that you cant use this with a T5 transmission is this correct? and why if so? thanks

You need the 153 tooth, 12.75" flywheel, because the 168 tooth, 14" flywheel is a larger O.D. than that bellhousing was designed for. There is NO advantage to a 168 tooth setup, anyway.
