Fuel Cell
I am in the middle of a huge project with my 92z with a ton of custom work. My current custom exhaust setup does not allow for a factory tank and I planned that from the start and was going for a custom aluminum tank. But now I am running tight on budget and am looking into buying a fuel cell and putting it in the rear with whatever cutting/welding I need to do (this will be MUCH less work than making a new custom aluminum tank).
Anyone use a fuel cell or have recommendations on which kind to get? I have never looked into this and just saw one on summit from RCI i think. it was a 15 gal but I am hoping to get a little bigger maybe 17-18 or so... I dont want to be at the gas station all the time with the supercharged 383 I am building.
Thanks for the help

Re: Fuel Cell
I am wanting to do the same thing. the rci 15 gal cell is long and narrow, 30x10x8. should fit perfectly in the back trunk. although i have not done it yet and have no confirmations on that statement. i would think it would be the best fitting off the shelf fuel cell with minimal custom work required. all the larger cells are deep and wide which means cutting up the the back end where the trunk is separated from the back seat. which also means making a firewall too...
