quick questions
recently pt a 358 in place of my 305 tpi this is what i did so far, new injectors 24lbs,adjustable fuel pressure regulator,headers,custon y pipe,7qt oil pan, 350 knock sensor,adjustable maf. i know i have to have a new chip burned for my upgrades,but no one around here knows where i can get that done around here in in pa.also 2nite i just put in a different throttle body an edlebrock setup off an 94 lt1 z28 everything was the same except the tps sensor was the newer style but the wires were the same and i had a plug that was made for that set up at the shop and i wired it into work my question is is that tps going to work with my 87 set up the wires wer the same the only difference was the plug? the car runs bout the same since that change and my check engine lite has been on since i replaced my maf. will that throttle body work and is this set up going to work with the stock egr set up i have it currently plugged up and am thinking off doing away with it. will the car ping without the egr itdoesnt realy now only if i realy jump onit and it pings for an second then corrects itself, im thinking i can get rid of that egr set up when i get the correct chip burnd for my set up am i wrong?

forot to mention tha the new throttle body didnt have the stock vaccume connection on it that the old one had so i bypassed it will that wor it goes from underneath the plenum to the evap is there a way to get rid of the egr and that vaccum line or should i get vaccun to that line from else where

Yes
Pull the codes to see what is making light come on
EGR doesn't work under acceleration so if you have pinging now something else is wrong;
too much spark advance for engine , wrong octane gas , etc

i know the egr doesnt work on acceraration and im running 93 in it the timing is at 8 degrees advanced is that rite?my egine lite on the scanner reads hi mass air flow signal reading and it was reading low till i adjusted the maf and now its reading hi
