BBC swap K-Member question
BBC swap K-Member question
Hey all,
Quick question: I've read through a lot of the BBC Swap threads, including the Sticky, but I haven't seen mention if anyone has come across any clearance issues with the K-Member?
Just wanna have my ducks in a row before I yank the current motor. Project car is a 2.8 '89 RS, going to a Mark IV 454.
Any input is appreciated, Thanks.

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
With the typical factory big block oil pan and 3rd gen engine mounts, you won't have problems with K-member clearance.

Re: BBC swap K-Member question
I never upgraded my k-member and a-arms until I went with large tube headers and even then it was a tight fit. When I was still using the Hooker swap headers, there was no problems with the k-member.
