What would it take to put a tbi in an 80 monte?
Just curious how much work and parts it would take to put lets say a tbi or something into a 1980 monte that is carb'd? I know the engine will BOLT into the car no problem. But my concerns are the wiring, computer etc. And getting fuel to it from the tank. How would one set that up or change it, what needs to be done?
Really my main concern right now is what to do since its carb'd and you would need a fuel pump in the tank for fuel injection, correct?
Then for wiring/computer.. I dont know how hard it would be, but if we could get all the motor/wiring/computer out of a donar car, would it be very hard to wire it up and get stuff working right?

You would need to swap over the wiring, computer, etc. You would need to get fuel from the tank.
Since this Board is dedicated to 3rd gen f-bodies, your next step should be finding a G-body board.
