Choose My Swap...

I got a 91 Firebird Convertible 5.0 TBI. Suspension is done Bilsteins in back, KYB's in front, Welded in sub frame connectors, TDS wonderbar, and the steering has been replaced from end to end. Also has new tires.

Now the vehicle is ready for some horsepower, I just dont know the best way to do it. I keep going back and forth in my mind. I have a budget of about 2500-3500. I run a shop so labor does not mater, Im talking strictly parts cost.

I cant decide the best way to go L98, LT1, 5.7 TBI, Crate motor,

Im my budget IM also going to have to figure for a full exhaust.

I am also looking for something that wont be a major pain in the *** to get to work electrically.

Would you guys think is the best way to go?

A 350 TBI and dual exhaust. I'd ditch the catalytic and run straight pipes all the way to the mufflers in the back. Then again, depending on where you live, that won't pass inspection.
