177 Supercharger
So I have read throw a lot forms. An I have not read of a single person with a 177 Weiand Supercharger in a 3rd gen. An commenting on what type of hood there using and the clearance. A lot of 144's.
I'm running a SHP Dart block turned in to a 421cid. Currently I have a Weiand 7532 intake with heights of (Front)3.63" (Back)4.56" and a 5" tall K&N air filter. All under a "big block hood" An from what I can see with the hood I'm running, there really is almost another 4-6" left with head room.
The Hood

Ok the math.
Weiand 7532 (intake) (Front)3.63" (Back)4.56"
Weiand 177 (Supercharger) (Front)9.5625" (Back)10.9375"
The difference (Front)5.9325" (Back)6.3775"
So I would think if I went to a smaller air filter I should be ok?
An does any one run a 177 and with what hood?
