should i convert to carb before 383 install?
thinking about doing carb and dist swap on my tbi 305, get it sorted out before doing 383 swap....i just fear changing.. engine..tbi to carb...to dist...fuel system and than kill'in a new motor cranking it while sorting out carb and dist conversion, already have holley 750, msd dist, for the 383
just need a cheap manifold for the 305....thoughts?

I wouldn't waste the time or money - the 750 carb too big for the 305, and you'll want a much better intake for the 383 anyway. Nothing difficult to "sort out" with a carb swap.
