Mechanical fuel pump replacement?

I need a mechanical fuel pump for my L82 motor, can I use a stock 1986 carbed 305 Camaro fuel pump? Have one laying around. If not what other options?

Yup, pretty much all the same, except for whether they have the right fittings to match the vehicle's plumbing. Best to go with the one for the vehicle for that reason.

It will fit, but a slightly higher capacity option is the Carter M6626.
