i just bought yet another third gen project and with this one im going back to the basics no electronics so my question is in doing this im putting in my built 350 four barrel fuell cell and all that kind of a prostreet look and im removing the computer before i do this i wanted to know what all it runs on this car the only thing i want electric is heater turn signals headlights taillights and insturment panel will removing the computer mess with any of this or will that still work fine

 

By removing your computer harness you will be fine. I just did this to my 87. You'll need to rewire a few things though. Your trans runs of the comp so you can either makeshift your own idea or spend the money for the kit. You'll need to rewire your fuel pump and fans. Fans they sell a nice kit for. as for fuel pump I have it on a constant 12v with a switch to kill power. And thats all i needed to do. It alot easier than it sounds. Just keep posting and people will help. People on here are very friendly. Dont be afraid to ask.

 

yea, youll be o.k., if you go with that fuel cell & the th350. im guessing the th350 cause its on your profile? i dropped the tank, got rid of the e-fuel pump, & fabbed a pick-up tube. even sold the computer on craigslist, lol.

 

yeah im going with my th350 im not found of 460le and im using a machanicall fuel pump with a fuel cell so thats great news thank you guys very much this saves me alot of guessing time lol
