Will they bolt on? Yes.

Are they a "bolt-on"? No.

The cooling passages are different. Several hot rodders have done the welding and machining to get them to work, but it ain't cheap, and it doesn't make any sense when you can get a set of Vortec heads and a Vortec intake manifold, bolt them on your Gen I SBC block, and get all of the benefits of LT1 heads on a Gen I SBC block.

1996-1998 Silverado/Sierra 350 heads. Vortec. 906 or 062 casting.

'96-'99, and a few '00's. 350's only. If it has a 305, move on to the next truck. Always verify the casting #'s - they should end in 906 or 062, as Infernal noted.

Or, to get it all in one slam dunk, go here:
http://sdparts.com/details/scoggin-d...er/sd8060rakit for Performer intake

or,

http://sdparts.com/details/scoggin-d...ter/sd8060raag for Performer RPM intake

(Also as Infernal noted, it's "Vortec", not "Vortex".)
