help with brackets!
help with brackets!
i just got a 84 camaro with carb 305 basket case! i need pics of all of the brackets locations for air pump, alternator power, steering pump and air conditioning compressor! this is the model with ac upper driver with ps pump below and alt upper passenger side with air pump below! any and all pics would be great! thanks for all of your help!

Ill try and dig up a picture of one..i only know how to put them on, kinda hard to explain it but it is very straight forward.

Maybe its a location thing seeing as I'm in Canada. Ive had 3x 84 Z28's and none of them had air pumps. Ive worked on many other 3rd gen's and the first time I saw an air-pump on one was an 85 or 86, i cant recall exactly.
But I know for sure, the big HUGE stock catalytic converters my cars had, had no air line provision in them even. And when I go to my local part store for belts, they're always the proper size and clearly, theres no air pump on the car.
MY fathers 81 Z28 on the other hand had an air pump on it from the factory.

Met Head, the A.I.R. pump has its own belt, run off of a separate grove on the front of the water pump pulley. It probably is a US vs. Canada thing.
