2.8l V6 to 4 bolt main 350 swap HELP
got the new motor....trying to figure out a transmission that will mount up to the car and the motor, as well as what to do with the wiring harness? could i use the stock v6 one and just change/ remove the wires i need and dont need anymore? also, would it be better to beef up the rear that i have now, put a posi in it and go up in gear size or get a new rear? also, anyone know where i can get some headers for the 350 that will work with my car? or will i have to get some custom made? btw car is a 89 Pontiac Firebird..thanks for the help in advance

Trans 700 r4 use trans crossmember from v8 car get a disc brake rear from a v8 car. If you go with a carbed v8 you don't need to change the wiring harness. If Injected you need a v8 car harness and computer. Also upgrade to v8 springs in front.

i knew about the springs up front, but i was thinking of a manual swap, either that or an automatic shifter. i really miss my manual lol. the v8 is carbed...but i wont have to change anything? not even wires to the dizzy, battery etc?
