Every few months he posts something like that. I do similar, but I post stuff that people struggle to apply to these cars. Lots of good articles to Google if you want safe SCR, or if you want to learn how to get away with high SCR, or if you want to understand DCR. They're all just tools to help you pre-set your actual cranking compression. DCR is most useful if it takes into account your elevation, as well as your displacement, your SCR and your cam specs. If that tests too high, that's when you tell me your combo.

 

And if you went strictly by that article, you'd get your SCR wrong.

Not a single mention of the contribution of the head gasket.

Poorly written, if you ask me.
