Re: 88 camaro 2.8 to 5.7 carb need help
I used my factory fuel pump and lines. I activated the fuel pump by hooking the fuel pump wire up to an ignition relay. I then hooked up the Holley 12-803bp fuel pressure regulator with a return so I could use my factory lines. Worked like a charm. This is on my 87 TA.

Okay that's one-way to get it done. As I can't find a fuel sending unit for a carbonated car any where

Yes, that's what I did with my 1988 camaro. Pull the pickup out. Measure how long the pump is. Cut you a length of 3/8" dia. steel or alum. hardline that length.
Then pull pump off and put the hardline in place of pump. Use a short length of rubber fuel line and 2 hose clamps... Or compression fittings to join your new line to the pickup.
Mine has been that away for 12 years now.

If you would rather buy a sending unit, I should have a couple from carb'ed cars. I'm parting out many third gens and 4 of them happen to be older/carb models.
1984 Z28 LG4
1985 Z28 LG4
1987 firebird LG4
1984 TA L69
I have already dropped the tanks on 2, put have not removed the sending units yet.
