2.8 MPFI to 5.7 carb - throttle bracket question

Hello community,

First off, I have read the general V6 to V8 swap sticky. Didn't find anything to help with my question so I searched "2.8 to 5.7", came up with A LOT of results. I weeded through them and none of them ask about throttle linkages so here goes...hopefully you guys can help me out!

As you can see from the title, I swapped out my 2.8 V6 fuel injected to a stock 5.7 carb'ed V8. The V6 throttle body was equipped for a throttle cable, cruise cable, and transmission kick down cable. The V6 bracket obviously didn't fit a small block carburetor.

So after some time away from playing with toys/projects like this(kids tend to demand attention ), I am back to cleaning up my swap and trying to do things right. The top half of my 5.7 is:
My question for you guys is what bracket did you use to facilitate the throttle, cruise, and kickdown cables? I have a bracket that was hacked together for the throttle and kickdown, but doesn't have support for the cruise and the cables may not be at the correct angles. I want this done right this time and am having trouble finding solutions.

head to a junkyard and find an 80's Caprice or Cutlass with a 307 Olds engine in it... those had a throttle cable/tv cable bracket that bolted to the rear carb bolts and is the easiest/cleanest way to do it.

i don't know what to tell you about the cruise other than to start popping hoods on every rwd 80's GM car and truck with a small block that you see in the junkyard and grab whatever looks like it will work.

I used the TCI bracket, looks clean and lines up right. I've never seen anything that has the cruise control bracket....

Dang...I was hoping someone would know of an aftermarket bracket that would do it all. Being that a lot of my engine compartment is already aftermarket looking, I'd prefer the bracket to look aftermarket too, something chrome would look nice. If not aftermarket, there's got to be a factory setup that were used for all 3 cables.

It's really easy to find a bracket for all 3 online, but seem to be for newer motors like the vortec.

If anyone knows, this has to be a place to find someone that does!
