Engine: 383 built
Transmission: 1995 camaro t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.24 posi 9 bolt
383 question.
i have a 305 tpi 1988 gta
I am buying a 4 bolt mint 350 from a machine shop....
Im paying them to prep it and build a 383 stroker
I need to make sure....I use std size 350 sbc bearings.
and I need to use what balancer and what diameter.....
I have tpi... im going to weiand stealth ram intake to...
I just need someone to tell me 100% ty

there are many ways to build a 383. You'll need to find one to suit your budget.
using a 400 crank with 400 rods
using a 400 crank with 5.7 rods
using a 400 crank with 6.0 rods
using an aftermarket crank with any of the above rods
buying an entire 383 rotating kit with all the parts ready to go, balanced, etc is the easiest.
there are literally dozens of how tows, part numbers, pictures etc in this forum alone--even more on the internet.
pick a power level you want to achieve, driving style you want, and go from there.

The diameter of the damper isn't important. What's important is whether the stroker crank is internally or externally balanced. That information comes with whatever crank you get - and your machine shop better know which they are building.
