86 iroc auto to manual linkage help
Anyone know where I can find a manual clutch (not hydraulic) linkage setup for my 86 iroc? I have searched ebay and craigslist with no luck. I want to remain old school, I have a 69 z28 350 and a T5 going in it and an automatic is not an option or me.
I need clutch pedal and all the linkage down to the throwout bearing arm.
Thanks

Iirc 83 was the only year for a mechanical z bar linkage.

You might ask the seller if he has the linkage, have you tried a first gen Saginaw/Muncie linkage ?

Does "old school" to you mean it has to be a mechanical clutch? '86 had a hydraulic clutch, which I doubt anyone would say is inferior to a mechanical clutch, especially considering what was offered in 3rd gens.
What was the source of your T5?

Re: 86 iroc auto to manual linkage help
Everything from an 82-83 with mech. linkage will work, for the F-body T5, you'll want the V8 bell.
The 82-83 mechanical setup is compromised to fit the thirdgen and the 84-92 hydraulic is the way to go. I have run both.
And 69 Z28s didn't have 350s.
