305 TPI to 350 carb question
305 TPI to 350 carb question
hi,
need some info and from reading everything here just gets me more confused.... if i could get some straight answers it would be nice !
1- i'm keeping the ECU do I need to change it to a 350 ?
2- I read that I need 350 knock to go with the 350?
3- ESC module change this to a 350 ?
I know these have been asked a lot but from thread to thread everything is different ???

Why are you keeping the ecm ?
Unless it's a 90-92 to keep the speedometer working.
2-3 if your going carb you need a non computer controlled hei distributor.
The esc and ks will go away.
If your running an automatic transmission you need a lockup kit like tci makes.

For the fuel pump you need a fuel pressure regulator to drop the pressure to the carb.As far as flexplate or flywheel you may need to change depending on if your going from a one piece or two piece rear main .
Why not stay with tpi.

Depends on what you have now.
You're at point "A", wherever that is (you didn't say), and want to get to point "B" (which you also didn't say). Kinda hard to draw a meaningful route map when the start and end points are unknown.
Year? model? engine? plans? goals? budget? rest of the car (gears, converter, etc.)? etc.
