Tbi to tpi swap in a 95 gmc sierra
Has anyone ever swapped a tpi in a tbi in a Chevy or gmc pickup? I have a 95 GMC Sierra. It is a v6 with a 5 speed trans. I also have an 87 z28 parts car that has a 350 tpi motor and 700r4 auto trans. I was going to see about taking the z28 engine/trans and put it in my little shop truck. The z28 is complete so I can take everything I need from it. I will be parting out the z28 as well.

I've seen it done with a similar truck, some older muscle cars, and even a mid 80s Jeep. It will be cool build for sure.

I put a TPI on a 350 tbi truck in the early 90s. Was a nifty project

Just realized the camaro has a 305. I'm picking it up this week. Not sure if I want to tackle the project or not. I already have a 70 duster and 67 satellite projects in the till.
