An under powered small block

An under powered small block
We were visiting some pick your parts yesterday, and we ran across something interesting.
We found sitting next to the building, a small block with limited power.
It was nestled between two fenders of a 2018 Z06. The car was missing from the doors to the rear bumper, like it was surgically removed by a train.
The car had just arrived on Friday, and it has the LT4 with paddle shift auto., and 800 miles on it.
He's going to hold it for us until Wednesday. We have to get a few other people involved to get the cash around.
He said we can have the engine and trans for 12k cash if we pull it, but after Wednesday, the price will go up after he has time to inspect it and pull it himself.
Maybe we will squeeze it into a Vega. A friend has one with a big block in it.

Re: An under powered small block
We got this thing home yesterday and did an inspection for damage. There doesn't appear to be any damage that we can find.
It has been decided that it will reside in a friends '02 WS6, since not only did he put up the most $$, but his car has extensive upgrades that will more than handle this beast.
Once it's all running, we all will have the pleasure of driving it, both on the street, and down the .25. He said he will have us all paid back by the new year, and then more mods to the car.
He says it will be done and drivable by Sept. 21st.

Re: An under powered small block
It's sitting in the car after a late night.
It sits on a custom K-member and trans mount, and there was a little trimming necessary to fit it in.
Now all of the finish welding and paint work. Then exhaust, wiring, etc., etc.

Re: An under powered small block
His wife is taking progression pics and will take videos of the car first starting and going down the track.
All of that will be posted on his FB page.
There isn't any interest here, so this thread can be closed/deleted.
I won't be adding to it.
