front wheel drive 3800 to f body camaro
Hi all. New to this board. I am working on a friend's 1997 3800 f body that has a blown engine. can a 3800 from a Buick replace it? I have read that there may be engine mount issues.I also want to know if the computer and wiring harness from the Camaro will work. This car is just a driver, no hot rodding. She doesn't have much of a budget so trying to cut costs as much as possible and I can get the Buick engine cheep. Thanks all.

The Thirdgen in www.thirdgen.org refers to the third generation Camaro/Firebird, aka 1982-1992. Maybe try camaroz28.com or ls1tech.com

Did see a '95 FWD supercharged 3800 installed into a '65 Chevy II once
