i need some help on the main steps and short cuts to puting a Lt1 injected engine in to where a TBI injected motor belongs.
i have the wiring harness and ecm. i need to know if any of the gages in the truck will connect right to the new wiring harness or if not how much modification will be needed. any thing to do in this procedure will help. i even need to know if i will lose any hp or tourqe. anything will help

Get the helms manual for the truck and also the one for the car that your lt1 came out of. With these you will be able to make the wiring work. the guages should work fine.

i all ready have the manual. i just need to know of any short cuts to take. one other question is how much would it cost usually for someone to take the tail end off a transmission. so i could put the transfer case on the end.

the tail shaft comes off a 700r with 4 bolts. You have to have the output shaft changed to one from a 4wd though. The 2wd and 4wd output shafts are differant. to remove an output shaft requires dissambly of the transmission.
