Car: 87 IROC L98
Engine: 588 Alcohol BBC
Transmission: Powerglide
Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
Everything.

Tranny and engine mounts, exhaust, wiring, cooling etc. Not to mention clearances to the firewall, frame rails, engine crossmember, hood etc.

It's not a drop in. Dropping in a BBC is easier and cheaper than trying to put in an Olds, Buick or Pontiac engine.

I'm not saying it can't be done. Any engine can be put into any car with a lot of planning, fabrication and preparation. Just be prepared for a long swap.
