ok im gonna be doing away with my lo3 soon and ill probably get the GM "deluxe" crate 350 that is complete...has everything cept pullies and headers which i have anyways it has 330hp and like 380lbs torque...how you think the 700r4 will hold up? it has a trans-go shift kit in it already and ill be adding a bigger stall when i swap the motor...anyways i was told id have to relocate the motor mounts...BS right? should be a direct swap correct? also will my starter work or do i need one with different gears? thanks for all the help...also i can wire the 700r4 to lock the converter with a switch right? because im definetly doing away with the aTBI...also id build a motor but i dont have time i gotta have the car for school and work so im gonna go crate then build it up eventually anyways im sure the 330hp will feel a freakin race car compared to the lo3

Should be a direct swap 305 to 350.
700r4 should handle what you have in mind plus the added gas mileage with its overdrive.Summit or jegs sell the kit to run your 700r4 without computer control.There may be a difference between your crate motor and your 305 as far as the flywheel/flexplate depending on whether your crate is a one or two piece rear main seal design.The flexplate/flywheels will not interchange.So Im not sure but if they are different your present starter might not work.I have a 92 305 camaro RS I want to swap out and do the same thing you are doing when the We-Oh-Five dies but it just keeps going 150000 miles plus.

im not sure what im gonna do now i might buy a mustang a guy i know is selling for cheap...nice 90 coupe with cowl hood and he also has a brand new 9psi paxton supercharger for 900$ he will sell me and install it for me so i might do that i still dont know tho
