maf vs. speed density

ok, my current 305 tpi uses the speed density sys.
if i swap in a complete setup from a bone yard, do i have to stay with speed density, or can i use a mass air flow system, and if so, what changes need to be made

If you just swap the hard pieces (ei the block, heads, intake, etc) and don't touch the wiring, you won't have to switch to MAF.

Are you saying you want to switch to MAF? I mean, if you want to, then you'd have to switch out the wiring and computer as well, and I believe that means seperating the SD wiring from your body wiring in order to make the switch.

If I was in your position, I'd just keep what I have and change the block, cam, injectors, and knock sensor and call it done.
